REMOTE CONNECTION NOT JOINING MSHOME WORKGROUP

I have set up a basic network at a work site with 4
computers using a hub and xp and it is working fine. I
want to use remote connection to connect from home and
share a drive on one of the computers. It connects fine
but I keep getting the message that mshome is not
available and I need to check that I have permission. I
actually got it to work once but I have not had it work
since. I am really frustrated with this it is acting like
its a security setting with the user name that I am
using. Am I doing this correctly ?? It was very easy to
set up the user name on the host and on the client at home
and it connects with no problem. Why do I have a problem
seeing the network HELP

Your ISP is probably blocking the ports required to do this and rightfully so since this is a *BIG
SECURITY RISK*... Look at using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to do this. The VPN link is
encrypted, safe and secure.
