Wonder if someone can help . . . .

I have a requirement to access a remote PC which serves as a display for
Traffic Info. I can't use remote desktop as this looks the screen once I
connect and stays locked once I disconnect

Remote Assistance would be ideal, but requies acceptance at the other end.
Is there a way of disabling this requirement so I can connect straight
through.

Alternatively is there another method that I can use, other than installing
a piece of 3rd party software

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

No, there isn't a way. Remote Assistance was designed to leave the user in
control. As you have stated, using Remote Desktop will lock the screen and
will be of no use if you need it to return to the original state. You will
need a third party application like pcanywhere to do what you are seeking.
