Reminisce about Palm Pilot!

Remember when Palm Pilot was hot? I really wanted one, and my step-father gave me a Casio digital organizer. I don't know where it is now, it's been 20+ years, but it was a great device. I keep my contacts and calendar in that thing.

I always really wanted one! My mum had one but I wasn't allowed to touch it

Yeah very true! Still know loads of people who don't store full contact information on theirs though (eg every year they ask for our address), so maybe they need a Palm Pilot too... Or maybe an old fashioned address book!

I bought a Palm Pilot m500, basically as a to-do list - but with the intention of using it for everything . It was a fun gadget, but nowhere near as useful as I hoped it would be.

I've just had a look on ebay and there are a surprising number for sale!

I guess I would buy one for nostalgia, but it wouldn't be much help now that I have a smart phone.
