PocketMirror??

Don G.

I'm using Outlook 2007 with Windows 7.
I'd like to synch it with my iPhone 4S, using the iCloud.
When I try it, I wind up with a bunch of tabbed calendars called
"PocketMirror".

I spoke with Apple Tech and they have no idea where that comes from.

A long time ago, I used a Palm Pilot, and I believe I synched it with
whatever version of Outlook I was using in those distant years.
If I remember correctly, "PocketMirror" may have had something to do
with the Palm system. Since then, I think I've backed up my PST file
and moved it around, from system to system over the years, and I
suppose it could still carry some kind of remnant of PocketMirror from
those long gone Palm years.

Is that possible? We're talking two computers ago.

Anyone else have any ideas about where PocketMirror comes from?
I am certain that I have not installed any PocketMirror apps on my
computer or on my iPhone.

No but I will.
How do I great a new .PST file?

pocket mirror comes from the old palm app but why it came up for you is
unknown.

Did you try making a new pst for outlook and moving everything to it
then syncing with the cloud?

OK, I figured out how to create a new PST folder, (cleverly, I Googled
it....).
I can move all my Personal Mail Folders into the new PST file.
I still have to get my Calendar and Contacts into the new file. I
would guess that I use the Export to File command? When it asks what
kind of file I want to export, I could export the Contacts and
Calendar as a PST file into the new PST file?

Well, whatever I did, I really messed up my Outlook.
Now, whenever I open Outlook, I get a message that says that my
reminders will no longer work.
Also, I have ALL my calendar items in color coded categoriesd. Tose
categories are now gone. When I open the Categories , I see "Blue
Category" instead of my original category that I assigned. There's
anote that says, my categories are no lonfer in teh Master List.

I wish I were smarter.

Oh boy...
