Remember window size for IE

Silly but annoying. My IE browser keeps opening up to a small window
whenever I click a link. Tried shutting down holding the shift key but it
isn't working. How do I get my browser window to remember it's size again?

I have experimented with this just now. I open my IE browser and resized it.
When I open it again it is the size that I just made it. I then maximized
the window and closed it again. It reopened maximized. So in short, open the
browser, maximize it, then close it. Open it again and see if it stays
maximized..

This works until IE is opened via a link, then it is minimized again.

Try this:

Drag the window to the size you want it - do not maximize it - then go to File>Close.

Open Windows Explorer. Tools|Folder Options the checkmark "Remember each
folder's view settings" and then click "Apply to all Folders". Give that a
try as it worked for me. If you try the same in Control Panel the "Apply to
all Folders" is grayed out, but that is not the case when using Windows
Explorer.
