Remaining Files After an Uninstall

This morning I uninstalled a program and when the
computer completed the uninstall, I got a message stating
that a few of the files were not deleted. The program was
uninstalled easily enough, but a few files still
remained. I clicked on DETAILS and I saw about 5-6
different files that weren't deleted during the
uninstall. I then got out of the message box and
continued working.

How can I get that list of files back that weren't
deleted? I don't know how to call that list up again. The
program that I deleted was Adobe REader 5.0. I would like
to delete the files once I find them.

How would I delete those files manually that weren't
deleted in the uninstall? I guess I am looking for the
least complicated way of accomplishing this task. Thanks!
I'll await your advice.

Jason, I think the easiest way would be just to look in C:\Program Files
for the Adobe Folder and delete it. Otherwise, you can reinstall
AdobeReader 5 and then Uninstall again but write down the list of files
this time.

Be careful, especially if you have another Adobe product on your PC,
You may find that Adobe reader 6.01 is using the folders now.

The files left, are usually removed when you reboot. They were not removed,
because they were in use at the time of the uninstall.
They are usually files in the programs folder rather than registry.
