Hi
A few weeks ago I spotted a number of folders in my Program Files. At first I didn't worry as there weren't many of them, but soon after their number increased. I tried deleting them, but it doesn't work, I get an error message saying "You need permission to perform this action". I found out that I can delete them manually, but I gave up after I realized these folders are being created everyday. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and how to prevent it

"what's in your 'startup' folder" Absolutely nothing. Btw, what sort of info do you need?

I also spotted another issue (it's about the permission). When I started up my PC and loaded up the task manager, it didn't open. After a minute or so I got a message that I cannot open the task manager due lack of permission (it worked normally yesterday). Also my PC didn't want to turn on, it restarted it-self while booting and froze on the "Welcome" screen (it didn't want to switch to my desktop)

What is the operating system?

What Anti-Virus are you using?

What hardware are you using? (Dell, Comcrap, HP?)

Problem could be failing hardware, such as a hard drive (it restarted it-self while booting and froze on the "Welcome" screen) ... or could be software, such as a Virus.

Windows 10 64bit
Ashampoo 10 Anti-virus (I'm not sure about that one, as my indexing is off, so I can't search it's names, dunno why it's off though. When I tried turning it on back again, the "Search and Indexing" tab froze when I pressed "Try repairing these as administrator)
Motherboard: Asus H81M-PLUS
RAM:4GB
GPU: Asus GTX 750ti (got it 3 days ago)
CPU: i5-4460
Hard drive: I really want to tell you, but I can't, because I cannot access the device manager (No permission...)

Also when I said that it froze while it was in the welcome screen, I meant that it didn't boot to Desktop, I waited 5min. I turned it on and off, but then it restarted it self. I also want to mention a weird bug in the booting screen, after 5-10 secs from pressing the power button the screen goes black (which is normal), but the so called white line (dubbo how to call it) in the top-left corner of my screen randomly changes places.

I tried fixing it by going to safe mode with cmd, so I can use the system account to reset the pc (I'm willing to sacrifice my files), it worked for a moment but then it booted me to my Desktop. I also have no way of altering many of my files (no permission). When I'm in security tabs, they freeze, the same thing happens when I'm trying to reset or restore Windows.
Just so you know, I restored my PC to the point at which there was no knew software on my PC (yesterday 22:31)

BTW, do you know anything about the strange folders in my C: drive?

Did you build this system yourself or got some one to do it for you?

I see two possible problems ,,, hardware or software ... nothing like spreading the spectrum of the whole system, is there? :)

The boot up 'problem' leads me to strongly suspect a hardware fault/problem, however, some nasties (virus) can inflict similar anomalies.

As you are not adverse in wiping your data I would strongly suggest starting over from scratch ... Starting with the BIOS first ... I need to know your level of 'tinkering' before suggesting anything as radical as resetting the BIOS.

I'm not too concerned about the MSIxxxx.tmp file situation, though that could be a nastie at work, or a corrupted MS program file or two.

Got someone to do it for me
I've run my anti-virus and found a Trojan, that's all. About the level of tinkering, I'm not a specialist, but I think I'm capable (-ish) of messing with BIOS. Btw, do you know a way to stop these MSI.tmp files from being created, they annoy me a lot.
