I ran Microsoft Anti spy and it found no problems. I then
ran Adware and it found 13 critical objects. Could I be
doing something wrong?

Try taking the checkmark out in the Ad-Aware program in
regards to "Search for Negligible Risk Entries" and then
do your scan. It will most likely not find a thing. Ad-
Aware searches for cookies. The Microsoft Anti-spyware
tool does not (yet) as it is still in Beta testing.

The "Search for Negligible Risk Entries" is a the bottom
once you press Start in Ad-Aware.

The 'Negligible risk' entries in AdAware are NOT cookies - they're the MRU
lists.

It's possible to run AdAware without scanning for cookies - but there's not
a lot of point. Just count the number of non-cookie items found.

I have it set not to search for Negigable items and had
it set that way at the time I did the test. The items
found were all cookies. Maybe anti spy does not look at
cookies. If not you would have to run both programs.
