Reinstalling TCP-IP under Windows XP Pro?

Hi all-
I ran into a problem where my IP connectivity has
somehow managed to get hosed. The "repair" feature didn't
help. Is there any way to uninstall/reinstall TCP-IP? When
you highlight it in the properties of your LAN connection,
the uninstall button becomes dim (nonselectable). Any tips
would be appreciated.
