reinstalling games

I accidentally erased all of the standard games I used to have on my
Microsoft XP computer, like solitaire, checkers, ect, and I do not know how
to get them back. Every time I try a message pops up telling me to insert
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD, but I do not have this CD, the
place where I bought my computer installed all of the XP programs for me, but
did not give me any XP CDs, so I was just wondering if there were any
alternative methods to reinstall these programs. Help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried looking for a directory on your hard drive with the Windows
files in? This can sometimes be called i386?

Go into Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, then click the Add/Remove
Windows Components in the left pane. With Accessories and Utilities
highlighted on the first screen, click the Details button. Single
left-click Games in the next screen to highlight it, then again click the
Details button. On the resulting screen you can add or remove check marks
from any of the listed games.
