I recently had to reinstall the XP operating system, but now I can't seem to
get on to the internet. It keeps saying that my networking hardware is not
working properly. I have checked through tools and there are no yellow
question marks. Does anyone know of a driver that may be missing?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
Do you have ISDN or ADSL,and account with ISP,if you have, may be it's
Winsock is Damaged, first select in the IE properties the ISP as your Default
Connection,in the Lan setting Select it and Tick the Box say Automatic, in
the Setting for the Connection Select the Box Automatic to detect your
Connection.
Hope that helps
Good luck

Nass,
I just got done trying that and still no luck. The problem seems to be with
the network adaptor. The light on the cable from the ethernet to the router
is orange. Shouldn't it be green? I have Cable modem with a linksys wireless.
This computer is not the one with wireless capabilities this one is from
ethernet to router.
Any other tips?

Hi Mark,
Try another Cable, may be your cable came defective, try it with a working one.
and switch the router off and reboot and see is the Light green or n't.
good luck

Hi Mark,
The problem is your network card, find what kind of computer you have
and download the driver of the network card. then install it.
