Reinstallation problem of Digitial Image 2006

I refreshed my laptop and now have XP Prof with SP2 and IE 7.0. I have over
25g of free space on my C drive. When I try to install DI 2006, I get the
message, "Setup was unable to install all of the components. Please close
all apps and try running setup again". I have nothing else running except I
cannot disable my antivirus (due to company policy) and so clicked OK. The
next message says, "Setup detected that IE 6.0 installation was not
completed. The installation may have been canceled or you may not have
enough free space on your system disk....etc.". Any help in getting this
installed would be appreciated. When I had my previous laptop, the image and
everything was the same (including not being able to disable AV) except that
I had IE 6.0 then and everything installed and worked fine.

Could you uninstall IE7 and then try
installing DIS2006? BTW...there are
some install tips in a readme.txt file
on disk one.

This is a very ususual situation...I
