Reinstall your mail program and try again

I have OfficeXP but got Outlook 2003 as part of an exchange server upgrade.
Since installing Outlook everything has worked except that when clicking
the email icon from within the other office applications I get a message
like the following:

"Publisher cannot mail your publication because part of the mail system is
missing. Reinstall your mail program and try again."

"Word cannot load the email envelope. This could be caused by a network
problem or a problem with your office installation."

This has happened to 3 systems and reinstalling does not fix it.

Anyone?

for that feature to work, you need to use the same versions of the
applications.
