reinstall xp

iv'e been trying to reinstall windows xp home edition
when i put the reboot disk in it goes through the motions
of of asking me if this is what i want to do i say yes,
then it stops and the following error message appears

sigle user versions cannot do multiple loads

does anyone know why this is happening

Are you sure that is the error message you get?
What exactly is the "reboot disk"? Is it a XP CD, or one of a set of OEM
restore disks? What is the make, model of your computer? Did XP come
preinstalled, or did you upgrade from another Windows? More information will
help.
