Reinstall Microsoft Word

My computer crashed and after having it repaired I could not get into Microsoft Word - screen is asking me for my CD Key# - do not have that OR the CD - would Microsoft keep a record of when I originally installed this and if so, how do I get it? Went on their website and there is no screen for direct e-mails. Thanks if you can help me.
