Reinstall and product key

I had to reinstall win xp(home-service pact 1) and for
the life of me i cant not find my book or disk cover with
the product key. How do I find my key so I can reregister
Xp? Or am I going to have to purchase a new Key?or rebuy
XP and start all over again? Thank you for your help
