I need to know the registery location so I may change the
default program used when openning and image using windows
2000 server.

Unclear.

You may use the "Open With" on a file's context menu...
You may go to Control Panel, Folder Options, File types...
You may use the commands: assoc and ftype from a cmd-prompt...

Any of those can you to a method for associating an file extension with
a program.
