Red x when linking to jpegs on Photo site

Not always, but there are times when I can display a jpeg
on a photo hosting site through a link, and my wife --
we're both running xp and IE6 -- only gets a little box
with a red x and can't display the picture. Any ideas?

In IE, click on Tools, Internet Options and Advanced tab in the opening
window. Scroll down in the item list to Multimedia and check the box "Show
Pictures".
