Recycle Bin Missing

I delete items and then am asked do I want to send them to
the recycle bin. I click yes, but I have no recycle bin on
my desktop or anywhere else in my computer I have searched
everywhere I can with no results. Can someone please
advise me on a solution. I have a Dell Dimension 2350
I would really appreciate any advice

For older O/S all you had to do was open up the rededit and
then:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}]
@="Recycle Bin"

I hve not had to try this for XP, but it should work.

Kelly has a fix at line 64 to repair or replace the recycle bin. (The
bin should be in Windows Explorer at the very bottom of the list.)
