Recycle Bin is MISSING!!!

Ambulance Attendant

Windows Vista- Clean Install. Done several virus scans- nothing. The problem
is, my Recycle Bin is missing from the Desktop. Gone, vanished. I've done a
roll-back to when I know the Recycle Bin was there- nope... still gone.
Ideas?? Suggestions??

You probably deleted it by accident. Unfortunately, the "Delete" choice
is right next to the "Empty" choice. I can't imagine why MS thought
putting "Delete" as an option for the Recycle Bin was a Good Thing, but
it wasn't.

thanks for link, i was also having this problem and by persolizing the desk
top managed to restore it in sec's.

Other deletion prompts user for confirmation. This one, important, does not.
Overlooked design? Thank you for your help. I was scratching my head to find
the basket icon.
