How can I restore the appropriate Recycle Bin icon on my desktop?

Rob

Some where along my exploration into Vista I've lost the Recycle Bin from my
desktop. I've managed to put a Recycle Bin shortcut on my desktop but when I
empty it the icon does not change to an empty Recycle Bin. Would someone
please tell me how to restore the appropriate Recycle Bin on my desktop?

Many thanks in advance, Rob

Hi Rob,

Right-click on the Desktop, click Personalize, and in the left pane, click
Change desktop icons. In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog, enable the
Recycle Bin checkbox. Click OK.
