Windows Vista- Clean Install. Done several virus scans- nothing. The problem
is, my Recycle Bin is missing from the Desktop. Gone, vanished. I've done a
roll-back to when I know the Recycle Bin was there- nope... still gone.
Ideas?? Suggestions??

You probably deleted it by accident. Unfortunately, the "Delete" choice
is right next to the "Empty" choice. I can't imagine why MS thought
putting "Delete" as an option for the Recycle Bin was a Good Thing, but
it wasn't.

Other deletion prompts user for confirmation. This one, important, does not.
Overlooked design? Thank you for your help. I was scratching my head to find
the basket icon.
