recreating disappeared printer driver

I used PC Relocator to transfer my software from my old computer to my new
one and it DID transfer WinFaxPro in every respect and I started using it.
It still appears in my systray and I can open it and send its own faxes. It
also still auto-receives.

However about a fortnight ago, it suddenly lost its printer driver in that I
can't now print to WinFax as a printer in Word (or anything else for that
matter). The WinFax printer has mysteriously disappeared from Printers in
Control Panel. There used to be a photo setting winfaxpro printer as well
but that has also disappeared

Does anyone know how to recreate it please? I might add that I bought an
entirely legal version but have lost the install CD otherwise obviously I
wouldn't be posting here! (A bit too late to tell me to retain backup CDs)

There has surely got to be a file you can drag and drop into the PRINTERS
folder in control panel?
All other elements get loaded in Task Manager

Winfax is a Symantec application... NOT a Microsoft one. You need to
contact them and ask for a replacement CD.

In practice is is not possible to contact Symantec adn ask them anything
except whether they can sell you a new product. That is one of the reasons
why their reputation stinks so badly in the industry at the moment. Because
they have noticed that they can withdraw all support for their products in
favour of shouting loudly about how award-winning their self-award-winning
support is! They even discontinued their forums a few years ago when people
started asking questions about why so many of their products dont work. You
cant even easily report a virus to them and their anti-virus is pretty much
their only product left which does work properly.

I use Avast on some of my PCs and NOD32 on the others. Never had problems.
Used to use Panda, but my MCE didn't like it with the MCX. Never ever
installed a Norton or Symantec product and never intend to. There are
always alternatives.
