I need to make recovery disk. I am using windows xp home
edition. I would like to reformat the harddrive. Thats
why i need to know how to make these disk.

Greetings

You should already have a recovery disk or a copy of the Windows XP CD-ROM.
If you dont have either contact the maker of your PC for instructions on
obtaining the media or for restoreing your PC.

Hmm, is the PC a system that you bought at Best Buy or something? If so,
you should likely have a set of recovery CDs. OTOH, if your system is
like mine than you won't have any such thing. My system is put together
by a guy who repairs and build systems for a living. I am certain that
he doesn't have anything like that.

The only thing that I can think of is to ghost (or clone) your current
drive to a spare HD via Norton Ghost.
