I am unable to boot the toshiba laptop. A stop code oxc2 keeps recurring. I
can f10 and have tried all the boot options (eg to last good config., safe
mode, command prompt, etc) but am unable to get past the blue screen to do
anyything before it shuts itself down. I don't have any recovery cd's with
the computer as everything was pre-loaded software. I suspect that I will
have to take it to be re-initialised but I want to be able to try and save my
latest data. I did take backup about 2 weeks ago buut unfortunately still
have files I'd like to get a hold of. \how can \i request of the
'technicians' that they try and save my data and what will they be doing to
get my system working. I am so worried about being fobbed off by someone who
can't be bothered and will just wipe my system clean without trying to
recover it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Its a bit unusual not to have been supplied with recovery cd's, and these
normally include pre loaded software
