I'm sure there has to be a way to do this....I setup my computer to
dual boot between Windows XP and Vista. I no longer use Windows XP
and wish to eliminate this partition and add the resulting free space
to my Vista partition. Currently, I have two partitions on my hard
drive. I have one primary partition (C:) that contains Windows XP and
a logical drive (D:) that contains Vista. What is the process for
eliminating, and subsequently recovering, the C: partition? Thank you
for your assistance.

You will not be able recover C: partition for moving Vista to this.
You would need to:

1) Re-install Vista so as to remove "all" partitions and install Vista
to the "combined" disk space as a new C: partition

OR

2) Locate a partition utility like Partition Magic that works in
Vista. (Not familiar with Vista)

OR

3) Reformat C: partition and use it as a "separate" drive.
