recover/reset password

My boss has Outlook Express on her computer and just got a laptop for working
at home. She tried to access her Outlook email on the laptop and it only
picks up email from 1.6.06 and earlier. She cannot remember her password, so
we tried resetting it, but now neither computer will accept the new password.
Any ideas how to recover the old one or reset it successfully? There is no
option to answer a security question or anything like that. Thanks!

Lindsey,

I have a similar problem. I forgot my password for main identity and
anotrher identity I use. Either the passsword I am typing is incorrect or the
correct password is not being accepted. I do not know how to fix. I signed on
this website looking for a solution. Hopefully we will receive a good reply.

Outlook does not have identities. Outlook Express does. Ask in an Outlook
Express newsgroup like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
