recover lost photos

HI, i was burning my photos to cd, and all my photos except one file was
burned to the cd, however all my photos in my 2005 file are gone. i am
able to find a Thumbs file that shows them in WinRar, and i have searched
WinRar and can not find them in there anywhere, just that thumbs file. Is
there anyway of recovering the files from the thumbs file? or from my
computer at all?

I'm not sure if this will fix your problem but I would try installing the
software found here: http://www.photosrecovery.com it seems to be able to
recover files that are corrupt, or have been deleted. I tried it and it does
seem to work.
