Recording Control Panel

I am having an issue when trying to use ventrilo, which just came up about a
week ago. Everything worked fine until then. When I try and talk on ventrilo,
the people I try to talk to, dont hear me, they only hear whatever is playing
on my computer. I called my motherboard manufacturer and they went through
the steps of having me open the sounds and audio devices properties>wound
recording>volume>recording control panel. Four things show up under this
control panel, Recording, CD Volume, Mic Volume, and Line Volume. The problem
is, under recording control, of the above 4 things, all are greyed out except
Recording. The manufacturer said this is the problem, because only recording
is not greyed out and able to be adjusted that windows is telling programs to
put out the sound of what the computer is doing. Any ideas or suggestions as
to why the other 3 are greyed out and what I can do to fix this.

Hi Travis,

Are your Sound Drivers properly installed? Make sure that your Sound
Drivers are being used. They should be listed and shown in the tabs of Audio
and Voice Settings in Sounds and Audio Devices Properties.
