what exe for this xp control?

sndvol32.exe opens the Sound Playback Volume control. What exe opens the
Sound Recording input control? Not the recorder.

Control panel~Sound and Audio Devices Properties and then the Audio tab. The
first button opens the Sound Playback Volume (sndvol32.exe). The button
below that opens the Sound Recording Volume. This is what I want to find.

xp pro sp2

Go to Start -> Run and enter the following in the Open box.

sndvol32.exe -R -D 0

You can create a shortcut to that application by doing the
following.
Right click an open spot on your Desktop and select New ->
Shortcut from the menu.
Enter sndvol32.exe -R -D 0 in the location box.
Hit the Next Button.
Give it a name and hit the Finish button.
You can now drag and drop that shortcut wherever you want.

Good luck

What is the -D 0? It brings up the same without the -D 0. Replace 0 with 1
or 2 and it does not open.

Is there anyway to lock it on Line in and MAX volume?

Sorry, but I don't know the answer to your question.
