volume control problem

hi, got some problem with volume control. when i try and alter the volume in
control panel, sound and audio devices, voice and audio options, it tells me
this "windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe" any ideas on how to fix this? it
does this for the audio and voice sections. the audio device is sigma Tel
audio.

See if extracting a new copy of Sndvol32.exe helps.
