Recommendation of a good nic card

Hello,
I am trying to setup a small wired network with one win98 and one winxp
home computer and a printer. Right
now I have a belkin cable/dsl router. I say a couple of good network cards
at my local store for my win98 machine and was wondering if someone had a
couple of opinions on them. If the had to make a choose between one of the
three which one would you pick.

My main concern right now is that it does not have to be lighting fast
connection just something that is very reliable and hope that everything is
compatiable to one another and some good tech support.

Belkin wired/wireless cable/dsl gateway router - Model no. f5d6231-4 (I have
this already)
Netgear FA 312 10/100 with wake on lan nic card
3com 10/100 managed net nic card
Belkin f5d5000 10/100 nic card

I was thinking of getting the belkin nic card since it is the same as
the router but from what I have heard it really does not matter.

Thanks for your help to this matter

Pick the least expensive and go with it. All are fine choices. Look at
D-Link products as well.

All are good cards, but the Netgear series has had problems with certain
Athlon motherboards.

Any, buy by price
Actuall as new motherboards have integrated NIC's there seems to be a
surplus of them. I have a few, and swapped all the 10mbit ones and still
have a 10/100 left around!

I'll add that as of yesterday the D-Link was "Rebate to 0" at Office
Max. Check around for deals like that ...
