Recognition problem with USB 2.0 hard drive with XP

Acomdata hard drive is not recognized with XP. It is an
unknown device. I have tried to use everything from a
high end PCI card, instaling with reinstallation after
uninstalling the device. My system is very high end and
I have downloaded all recent updates for XP including the
2.0 USb drivers.

The hard drive is the acomdata 2.0 60 GB USB
