Not a downloadable application as such, but the online recipie binder at the
BBC Food website is very good. You can search for recipies from various BBC
cookery programs and then add your favorites to the binder. It's very tidily
designed and theres a bit where you can add your own notes and also a "print
friendly view":

AFAIK only GroceryBoy will create shopping lists - unfortunately I just
discovered that it is now shareware.

I believe some sites show recipes in Meal-Master (MealMaker) format.
Presumably those recipes can be downloaded if you use Meal-Master or a
Meal-Master compatible app.
