Subject: Recent Documents cleared at Start
Date: Fri, 21 May 2004 00:36:02 -0700
Before, I can still see the documents I accessed previously. Now, at
every start up, I no longer see the documents I accessed yesterday. I
already check the registry for the existence of the registry keys
responsible to disabling this feature, there's no explicit setting for
them. So, I'm guessing this might have been caused by another 3rd party
app that I tried. However, I can no longer recall which one since I try
(and evaluate) a lot of software.
Is there a way I can restore the Recent Documents tracking w/o reinstalling
Windows?--------------------
See if you have this policy Enabled, if not, then Disable it....
start > Run > gpedit.msc > Local Computer Policy > User Configuration >
Administrative Templates > Start Menu & Tasbar > "Clear history of recently
opened documents on exit"
