Recent Documents

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong group, but I have tried the
Office group to no avail, so am reposting here.

I am using MS Office enterprise Edition on a Windows XP (SP3), and
cannot see any links to recent Office documents in the 'My Recent
Documents' folder/list on the XP start menu. Other shortcuts are there
eg jpg's Page Plus docs and Live Writer posts. There are jusy no
shortcuts to any Office 2007 documents.

Any help would be welcome. Many thanks in advance.

Yes I had checked that first, but thanks for your ideas

The list has a limit (12 I think) and are presented alphabetically and
can be increased to hold more entries. Things get pushed out or moved
out of the list the more other things get opened. They do not
accumulate without bounds (fortunately).

If you are seeing any, then the feature must be turned on.

It is possible to open enough other documents to push your Office
documents right out of the list.

Open a/some Office document right now, close it, check the list.

Thank you, but I have tried this also. I even cleared the list and
retried, but still no Office 2007 links.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Many thanks for all your help with this. It is now resolved.
