Receiving fax on fax machine

I installed winfax pro.the thing is, how do I set it so that i can send
fax using win fax pro but receive fax through the fax machine. do i set
winfax pro to disable automatic receive?

I'm sure Symantec will be happy to answer your question. They offer no

hrm, i tried using ms fax console.i disabled the automatic receive.but
i cant receive fax anymore, even the fax machine cant receive.or do i
set the amount of ring for the fax console to a high number?

I would start by posting a clear question first.
It appears you have now installed two conflicting fax programs on your
partition and have no idea which you are using. Your problem cannot be
addressed with the information you have posted.
