rearrange toolbar?

In XP pro is it possible to rearrange the toolbar at the bottom of the
screen? Right now the programs are listed from left to right in the order
they were launched, I'm wondering if there is a way to rearrange the order
so the programs I use all day are at the beginning without shutting every
program down and restarting in the order I want. THANKS

This feature is not available in Windows. Taskbar Commander utility might help you.

There's no way to rearrange them, but here's a workaround that
may help you:

If you use the same set of programs every day, start them from a
single batch file in the Startup folder. Write the batch file as
follows

program1
pause
program2
pause
program3
etc.

That will start the programs one at a time in the order you want
and prompt you to "Press any key to continue" after each one. It
requires manual intervention, but at least you don't have to
start each program explicitly.

THANKS for the help but the problem that I'm having is that sometimes my
programs freeze or crash and when I restart them they are at the end of the
order instead of the beginning. I like to have Outlook opened first and then
Outlook Express, I always like IE to be at the end. Once again THANKS
