TkBelExe? Are you sure thats the update file - just it sounds a little suspicious!

If it can't be disabled with msconfig/realplayer, I'd try running "adaware" and an antivirus program!

As far as I know Real Player is a piece of software that contains spyware.
This is what is probably what is causing the anomalies you mention.

You would be best uninstalling it and following the above advice(run Adaware or another spyware remover.)

There is another version of real player called Real Alternative which will handle Real Player content but not put the dreaded spyware on your PC.

You could get it at:

Its freeware and is a 5Mb download.
There's reviews of it on the page linked above too.

:D

p.s.
if you're still getting probs post here and I'll try find an answer for you.

You're very welcome Ian.

I hope qmax gets his problem sorted.

You need to be discriminating when you install 'free software,' - however its not all bad.

Here's a totally unrelated bit of clean software - you might find it useful.

Its called 'Stickies'

you can get it at:-

anyway you've got this site for sore eyes to sort out,
- no slacking!!

keep up the good work
and thanks
