Real Player help

Hello--(I know--mucho cross-posting going; on here--I just want some info on
this)--
I'm having problems uninstalling my Real Player. My Real Player doesn't
work at all, so I'm trying to uninstall it & re-install it. (I personally
like Windows media player over all the media players I've heard, but I'd
like to keep Real Player on my hard drive). I forget which version it is,
but I d/l-ed it a few months ago, at the longest. Anyway, I can't locate the
uninstaller for it on my c: drive (Win XP, SP1a, if it matters), & I 've
tried--"start/programs/Real Player/Uninstall" & I've tried "control
panel/Add/remove programs/Real..." & those options can't locate the Real
uninstaller. I've done Googles out the google & can't find a Real Player
uninstaller, & I've d/l-ed uninstallers from Cnet/d/l.com, & those won't
uninstall Real Player.
I'm also having trouble simply d/l-ing Real Player from Real.com, due to "my
security settings prohibit the d/l". I've tried "accepting all cookies" in
"privacy" tab, & putting my "security" tab on low security for "internet,
local int., & trusted sites". I've even tried disabling my f/w (XP). I am
unfortunately on a dial-up here at home, so we're not dealing with an office
network. Thanx for reading my book. (Sequel due out soon)---

Oh---& since this is my pc & I'm the only user (Administrator), maybe
there's a regedit route I can take to uninstall this Real problem, (no pun
intended), & the d/l--ing the Real Player from the Real.com site is a whole
other story.----Thanx!!

Do a search for the file rnuninst.exe and r1puninst.exe
Mine are located at
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\rnuninst.exe"
RealNetworks|RealPlayer|6.0

Yeah, thanx---& I have the same location for my "Real" files, but I click on
the "r1puninst" icon & it says "uninstaller component missing". I will try
the search for "rnuninst.exe and r1puninst.exe". Thanx!!
