Turn off ICF on the XP PC.

If that doesn't fix it, what error message do you get when you
try to map a net.drive on the W9x PC to a share on the XP PC?

Hi

checked ICF and is disabled. If I use net use to map a
drive it asked for a password. I have the same user and
password on both 98 and xp but it doesn't allow me to
access gives error code 5

thanks
Mark
