Re-installing vista on ap lapto

I'm a systems engineer and every 6 months or so i re-install my OS due to
having loads of trial software and apps that slow my machine down.

My question is can i do this with an upgrade version of vista. I have heard
rumours that Ms will only allow vista to be installed once on the same
machine. I use a laptop so the internal components never change(apart from
memory). So to clarify how many time can i re-install vista on the same
machine in a year.

many thanks

If the internal components never change you can install Vista on you laptop
as many times as you wish.
Vista examines the components of your system and generates a key. If this
key is the same, you don't need to activate again.
