Re-install windows..lost files

Re-installed windows...everything is now gone. It is on
the hard drive somewhere..how do I retrieve it? How do I
reload everything?

Did you do a Clean Install of Windows? If so everything should be gone.
You will need to reload all your software from the disc's they came on.
