RDP graphics problem multiple windows open at the same time

Both machines are xp pro, and I am using Broad Band Connectivity at both
locations. When I'm logged in via RDP into my remote xp pro workstation . I
am experiencing the graphics showing the same window multiple times
overlapping each other when I am in different applications. Does not matter
what apps I'm in. I thought it was my local monitor and switched it without
luck. I do not experience this behavior on my local pc when I am not logged
in via RDP. All local applications open and close within their own windows
without issue. What do you suggest for me to look at on the remote machine.

I would make sure your running the latest video drivers available for the
host and client...
