Blank screen on host after RDP session

I have an XP pro computer at my office that I connect to via RDP. I can
connect fine using RDP but when I go back in the office and log in locally
after an RDP session, the screen goes black and I have to reset or force a
shutdown and reboot to get back into windows. Any ideas?

Update your video card driver and network card driver straight from each
individual manufacturer's web site...
