RDP Client on WinXPe thin client connection bar issue

I've got thin client devices (HP t5700) with RDP client 5.2. I've learned
that there is a bug in this version that prevents the connection bar from
hiding when you untick 'Display the connection bar when in full screen
mode'.

I'd like to use v5.1 which doesn't have this problem.
I've tried taking mstsc.exe and mstscax.dll from a WinXP Pro sp2 machine and
putting them on the thin client in \system32.
This appears to work fine, however it has a different problem.

The connection bar now works as it should, but when the option 'Local
Resources -> Disk Drives' is ticked, only one of the 3 local drives show up
in a session (if you log in as User).
If you login to the thin client as administrator, all the local drives work
as they should - but not as 'User'.

This works fine (of course) on RDP client v5.2.
Any suggestions? Perhaps a better way to change the RDP client or know of
another fix?

TIA, Graham

Tried another set of mstsc.exe and mstscax.dll from WinXP SP1 (instead of
sp2) and these files seem to work.
