RDC unable to continue

Hi, I am having strange problem w/ remote desktop.
Occasionally my remote desktop won't work. It will attempt to log in and I
can hear log in sound and see background image for a second and then it
disconnects right away. If I immediately try again it will prompt me for new
session and acts the exact same way. And any subsequence attempts resulted in
the same way.
I resolved it by rebooting the remote computer since it is in another room.
However, it's impossible to use remote desktop if I were in another location.
Does anyone knows how to solve this problem without having to reboot the
remote computer?

Check the event log for possible clues...

Also make sure the video graphics hardware drivers are up to date...

Thanks for reply,
I don't remember the approx time when last error happened, so I can't tell
any error in event log is related to RDC login failure.
However, I found the following error when I last used RDC yet I can still
use RDC. So I don't think it is the direct cause to my problem.
--------------------------------------------
Event Type: Error
Event Source: ipnathlp
Event Category: None
Event ID: 32003
Date: date
Time: time
User: N/A
Computer: computer-name
Description:
The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to request an operation of
the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration,
insufficient resources, or an internal error. The data is the error code.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: 1f 00 00 00 ....
------------------------------------------------------
I've looked the resolution for this, and I don't see how it can help me.
Even if this is the cause I still can't correct the problem as it only
happen when I attempt RDC and I don't have access to remote computer b/c of
RDC failure.

Is there anyway to reboot the remote computer from outside my network?
I've tried shutdown.exe, but it gave me errors such as network path not
found or access denied.

If its working then I doubt that message means much...

When it fails is when you need to look for error messages...
