RAS user and password change issue

We still have many dial-in users in or organization. Some have 2 computers
they use to dial-in. We setup a dial-up connection for “all users†so they
can log-on using a dial-in connection. This way, when they need to change
their Domain password from on dial-in machine, they can dial-in from another
using their new password and the other machine gets cached with the updated
password too.

This has been working fine. Now, I have one user that cannot do this from
his home machine. If he has changed his Domain password from another
machine, he cannot logon to his machine using the dial-in connection. He
cannot get he password updated or “synced†with his new password. If he does
it from home first, he can use other machines ok…so it appears that this only
affects his home machine.

So…..does anybody know why this is happening or how to fix it? Or…is there
another method of taking care of this issue…the issue of how we keep
passwords up-to-date for dial-in users with multiple machines?

Hi, Tim,

Have you already asked this on microsoft.public.windowsnt.protocol.ras?
