Randomly turning off

Why does my computer shut down on its own all the time?
It turns off but the green button stays on and in order
to start it up again i have to hold the button in a for a
minute release and then hit it again.

Hi Kelly,

When mine had a dirty/stuck fan in the power supply it would turn itself
off now and then, too hot to function properly. Easy to check until you
get some other ideas to explore.
