Random popups?

Recently popups have started appearing when I've been
visiting sites that normally don't have them--like when
visiting my bank's site, I suddenly get
a "earnweekly.com/globalpayonline.om popup window. I
suspect that I have inadvertently downloaded some kind of
program into my IE6 that throws up an ad whenever I visit
a certain kind of site. Has anyone come across anything
similar?

Even i had a similar kind of trouble,
What i did is downloaded a spyware which automatically
removes hidden unsolicited programs from the windows
registry !! i can suggest you to try this
Its AD-AWARE you can download it from www.downloads.com

Try this ! this should solve the trouble
Run this program atleast once a week

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
